Aniela Gelder

Project Manager

Aniela Bylinski Gelder originally qualified as a Research Analyst for DEFRA, after sitting a BSc (Hons) Geography, before going on to pursue a career in Environmental Protection.

Aniela has project managed a variety of projects for Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council, including Air Quality Management, Waste Management and Control and Budget Management over the course of 9 years. Aniela then took a short career break to bring up her young family before returning to study to complete a MA in Social Policy receiving a Distinction and being offered a ESRC Fully-funded PhD at Lancaster University in Science and Technology studies, where she carried out PhD research for 12 months before returning to the corporate world primarily to support project delivery and control at UKSF and Home Safe Housing.

Aniela continues to be involved in local government, influencing policy and outcomes with her knowledge of the industry.  She is currently a local authority Councillor in the North West.
